Pawel is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with more than thirty years of clinical experience helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. He was drawn to the profession by a desire to help people overcome injury and illness, regain their independence, and get back to the activities that give their lives meaning. That motivation has carried him across an unusually broad range of practice settings, including orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, post-surgical, sports, geriatric, and pediatric rehabilitation. Working with such varied populations has given him a wide clinical lens, and it means he recognizes patterns that a therapist with a narrower background might miss.
His treatment philosophy combines hands-on manual therapy with individualized exercise, movement analysis, and patient education so that each person achieves lasting results rather than temporary relief. Pawel earned his Master of Physical Therapy from the Poznan University of Physical Education in Poland and later completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Along the way he added certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, better known as the McKenzie Method, along with Spinal Manipulative Therapy and Dry Needling. He puts real weight on teaching patients how their own bodies work, because the people who understand why their pain started are the ones who stay out of trouble long after treatment ends.
Pawel enjoys strength training, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. He is also an analog photographer who shoots with vintage cameras, and he is a longtime reader of classic literature.
