Austin TX Physical Therapist Eric Finger

Eric Finger Physical Therapist, learn about us

Eric helps active professionals and business executives achieve peak physical health so they can get back to the workouts and sports they enjoy without compromising their busy schedules. As a busy professional himself, a father of three, and a triathlete, he understands how difficult it is to carve out time to take care of your own body. He also understands what separates real recovery from a rushed appointment, because he has spent his entire career delivering high quality one-on-one care under the guidance of a specialist physical therapist rather than a technician. After more than twenty years as a clinician, he watched physical therapy clinics trend further and further toward volume over quality of care, and he knew there was a better way to deliver physical therapy. Move Empower Concierge Physical Therapy was born out of that conviction.

Eric began his formal education at the University of Kansas, where he was a member of the varsity swim team. From there he completed his Master’s in Physical Therapy at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2002. He then pursued an intensive post-graduate continuing education path, earning board certification as an APTA Orthopedic Specialist and completing a fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. In 2020 he completed the Champion Performance Therapy and Training System Program, which sharpened his approach to bridging the gap between finishing rehabilitation and returning to full athletic performance. That training now shapes the wellness and performance coaching programs he offers to clients who want to keep building strength and capacity after their pain has resolved.
